A forum for those seeking election to the Garden Grove Unified School District Board of Education will be held next Monday.

The event will not be a debate. Introductory remarks, responses to questions and closing remarks by the candidates will be directed to voters in the audience, not to the other candidates, organizers said.

The general format will include a two-minute introduction by each candidate, followed by a question-and-answer session and closing remarks of three minutes by each the candidates.

Three of the board’s five seats will be open in November. All seats carry four-year terms. The election is Nov. 5.
