Live Entertainment Asset Sold: The Van Nuys home video company said the sale of Navarre Corp., which sells recorded music from independent labels, to a group headed by Navarre management marks the last piece of its money-losing Lieberman Enterprises unit to be divested. The price was not disclosed. Live also said it settled for undisclosed terms three lawsuits by former shareholders of Navarre stemming from Live’s 1990 acquisition of Navarre. Live is 54% owned by Carolco Pictures Inc. The two companies have agreed to merge in a stock swap that would give Live Entertainment shareholders $16 in stock for each Live share. The merger is subject to shareholder approval.
