Health Insurance: You don’t have to be a doctor to get insurance from Physicians Mutual Insurance Co., which opened offices in Tustin and eight other California cities during the last six months.

Michael Anderson, manager of the Tustin office, said Physicians Mutual will be selling health insurance covering four main areas: Medicare supplemental insurance, long-term disability, long-term care and the standard hospital-medical-surgical policies.

Physicians Mutual, the nation’s ninth-largest health insurer, is based in Omaha, Neb., and maintains its four-state Pacific Coast territory office in San Diego.
