OXNARD : Airman Dies After Motorcycle Crash
An enlisted man at Point Mugu Naval Air Station has died from injuries suffered in a motorcycle accident on Pacific Coast Highway at Deer Creek Road, the California Highway Patrol reported.
Airman Todd M. Graham, 20, was traveling southbound at about 1 p.m. Monday at an undetermined speed when he apparently lost control of the motorcycle, the CHP said. The motorcycle careened down an embankment on the ocean side of the highway, and the victim hit at least three boulders.
Graham was pronounced dead from massive head injuries about six hours later at St. John’s Hospital in Oxnard. He was not wearing a helmet, investigators said.
