COLLEGE FOOTBALL DAILY REPORT : USC : Perry Is Getting Better, Smith Says

“I see improvement in practice,” Smith said.
Perry, in four games as the Trojan starter, has completed 50.6% of his 83 passes for 478 yards and one touchdown, with five interceptions.
Comparing Perry to his predecessor, Smith said: “I think Todd Marinovich’s main trait was that he was a very high-percentage passer. But Reggie’s tools and fundamentals and all that are every bit as good.”
