Tessitore drew a great deal of attention when he came on the field at Orange Coast College to warm up, making obscene gestures with both hands toward the Edison fans.

He further endeared himself with his brash play. After throwing a 38-yard touchdown to Stevie Woods, Tessitore danced and pranced up the field, pointing to the Edison bench.

“That’s the cockiest SOB to ever put on a jock strap,” Edison Coach Dave White said.

When the game ended, Tessitore pointed to the scoreboard and then to the Edison bench.

Afterward, Bruich approached him and said, “Son, you can’t taunt every team we play.”
