* Anthony Dean of Hamilton ran for 204 yards and two touchdowns in 27 carries in the Yankees’ 29-8 victory over Los Angeles University in a Coastal Conference game.

* Chephren Davis had 16 carries for 121 yards and scored on runs of five, five and 33 yards in Fairfax’s Coast Conference victory over Los Angeles. Fairfax quarterback Rahim Muhammad had 16 carries for 102 yards and intercepted two passes.

* Greg Roach, a linebacker for Beverly Hills, had 20 tackles in the Normans’ 28-18 nonleague loss to South Torrance.

* Pathon Rucker rushed for 179 yards and three touchdowns to pace Glendale to a 47-7 victory over visiting Burbank in a nonleague game.

* Mike Rodriguez rushed for 171 yards in 13 carries to lead Flintridge Prep to a 48-14 victory over Chadwick in the teams’ Prep League opener.

* Greg Ainsworth, playing both ways for Duarte, carried 12 times for 87 yards and made 12 tackles as the Falcons beat Bellflower, 6-0.
