Seven Women to Get Good Scout Award

Seven women will be presented with the Good Scout award at the Western L.A. County Council of the Boy Scouts of America Women of Excellence 1991 luncheon on Oct. 30.

The women are Jane Boeckmann, publisher/editor in chief, Valley Magazine; Karen Caplan, president and CEO, Frieda’s Finest; Paula Levy Churchill, CEO, California Cosmetics Inc.; Billie Beasley Jenkins, director of production, 20th Century Fox; Doris Meyer, special assistant to Mayor Bradley; Cheri Ramey, president of Ramey Communications; Julia Thomas, CEO, Bobrow/Thomas & Associates. Funds raised at the event, which will be held at the Century Plaza Hotel, will support the Handicapped Scouting programs of the council.
