Reaching Out: The Pasadena YWCA Rape Crisis Center and its outreach projects will benefit from upcoming performances of “How Quietly We Cry,” actress-playwright Pamela Beth Harris’ multimedia piece about childhood sexual abuse. Funds from a performance Tuesday at the Westwood Playhouse, hosted by actress Mariette Hartley, will go to the center. And when the work begins a run Nov. 1 at the Tamarind Theatre, money raised will allow the center to take the play to high schools and junior high schools.
