Lazy J. Ranch Park in the upper West Hills area has been completed for just over a year. The park is tucked in the middle of a relatively new neighborhood and is generally used by young families with small children.
Facilities at the landscaped park include a large orange and blue children’s play structure complete with swaying bridges, twisting slides and climbing apparatus.
The park also has a well-maintained open field of green grass and newly planted trees. People use this space during weekday evenings and weekends to play Frisbee, softball, catch and soccer practice, according to park maintenance workers.
Lazy J. Ranch is also a favorite spot for picnics, barbecues and large-group gatherings.
