‘Deja Vu’ Axed: Thirty-five years after playwright John Osborne’s “Look Back in Anger” ushered in an era of working-class dramas, the play’s eagerly awaited sequel, “Deja Vu,” starring Peter O’Toole, has been dropped before its first rehearsal in London. Steve Kenis, O’Toole’s agent, said Friday the show wasn’t ready because it had only just found a director and had no supporting cast. The Liverpool Playhouse, where the show was to open Nov. 13, had already sold more than 1,000 subscriptions.
