Two police officers and two civilians were injured Wednesday in a car chase that reached 100 m.p.h. after police tried to stop a stolen car wanted in connection with a robbery and attempted murder in Las Vegas.

The injuries “appear to be minor,” Chula Vista police said. Authorities refused to release the names of the injured.

At the end of the chase--which led police through Chula Vista, Spring Valley, Lemon Grove and through San Diego to Point Loma--police arrested Jeffrey Murphin, 23, when his car struck a fence.

There are $510,000 in felony warrants out on Murphin in San Diego, and he is wanted in connection with 13 residential burglaries, police said.

Las Vegas authorities allege that Murphin handcuffed a woman at gunpoint in her home and stole $300 from her. Before leaving, he allegedly stabbed the woman in the back and chest, then slit her throat and left in her car.
