Mazda Boosts Prices on Some Cars: Mazda Motor Corp. increased prices on some of its 1992 model cars and trucks by an average of 0.8%, or $125. The price increases come on top of an average price increase of 3.1%, or $570, for all 1992 model cars and trucks. Mazda spokesman Fred Aikens said the increases stem from a number of factors, including importation costs and the prices of competitive products. Affected by the boost were the 323 SE, MX-6 and 626 cars; the MPV minivan, and some versions of its pickup trucks.
