California IN BRIEF : SIMI VALLEY : Reagan Library Fete Will Require Tickets

SIMI VALLEY — Although officials of the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library have designated next Tuesday as Community Appreciation Day--a day to thank Ventura County residents for their support--no one will be admitted without a ticket. And many of those tickets will be in the hands of elected and appointed officials and their friends. So the rest of the public, will have to wait until midweek to get a glimpse inside the Reagan library. Officials had hoped to open the library to the public on Tuesday afternoon.
