Quartz Hill 20, Ridgecrest Burroughs 14--Visiting Quartz Hill, using its running game effectively, overcame an early 7-0 deficit. Quartz Hill drove 62 yards in 10 rushing plays to tie the score, 7-7, in the first quarter. Erik Thomas capped the drive with an eight-yard touchdown run.

Calvin Liggins scored on a 15-yard run to boost the Rebels into a 14-7 lead in the second quarter. Thomas rushed for 133 yards in 21 carries.
