Olympic hurdlers Lee Calhoun (deceased) and Willie D. Davenport, sprinter Charley Paddock (deceased), gymnasts Bart Connor and Peter Vidmar, and figure skater Dorothy Hamill were inducted into the U.S. Olympic Hall of Fame at a ceremony in Colorado Springs, Colo. William E. Simon, president of the USOC from 1981 to 1984, was inducted as a special contributor.
