Re: “Harmony for Parade Still Elusive” (Times, Nov. 14). It’s getting to be such that there can’t be any grand parade nor social event without some disgruntled minority special-interest group voicing their discord.
What gives American Indian leaders the right to politicize and rain on our parade? I could care less what Columbus did centuries ago, nor do I care what the percentage is of ethnic-minority participants, their religious, political or sexual preferences.
Leave the Rose Parade alone, and let the millions around the world enjoy it!
