College Gets $500,000 to Boost Enrollment
Whittier College has received a $500,000 grant from the James Irvine Foundation that will be used to increase enrollment and improve academic studies.
The funds will help pay for summer workshops for faculty members, and for marketing research aimed at improving strategies for recruiting students.
The James Irvine Foundation was established in 1937 to promote California’s cultural and intellectual environment.
