SCHOOL CROWDING: The Los Angeles school board will hear a report Monday on the district’s efforts to cope with overcrowded classrooms, many of them in the San Fernando Valley.
HEARING: A hearing is scheduled Wednesday in San Fernando Valley Juvenile Court to determine if Guillermo Bustos and Michael Loretto, two New Mexico youths accused of stabbing Northridge resident Jacqueline Kirkham in a Malibu Beach restroom, should be tried as adults.
