2 Fatal Crashes Within 2 Weeks; Passenger Survives

HONOLULU —
Stennett Alapa was listed in critical condition Saturday after a head-on collision Friday. It was his second fatal road accident in two weeks. In both instances he was a passenger and the drivers of the vehicles he was riding in were killed.
“I don’t know whether to call him the luckiest man around or the unluckiest,” a traffic investigator said.
