GETTING THE WORD: Many museums, galleries and theaters nationwide Sunday will be dark, or will stage events to mark the third annual “A Day Without Art,” (F1) a commemoration of the huge toll AIDS has taken on the art world. Seven county arts institutions are taking part. But not Orange Coast College. It will show an AIDS-themed exhibit, coordinated with AIDS Awareness Month. . . . The college is not boycotting the “Day” observance, organizers say; they just didn’t hear about it.
