In other men’s games:

Mt. San Antonio 58, Oxnard 54--Shawn Talley scored 17 points and Atherly Cameron added 12, but the Condors fell short in a nonconference game at Oxnard.

Mac Reliford, who scored 14 points for Mt. San Antonio, sank three free throws in the final minute to preserve the win.

Azusa Pacific 108, Cal Lutheran 103 (OT)--Jeff DeLaveaga’s 47 points and 12 rebounds were not enough to keep the Kingsmen from a nonconference overtime loss at home.

The senior guard, who scored 27 points in the first half, came within a point of his single-game career-high and fell three points shy of the school record, held by his brother, Steve.

The Kingsmen (0-3) had several chances to keep the game from going into overtime, but failed to score after getting a rebound with about 10 seconds left in regulation.

Simon O’Donnell added 21 points for Cal Lutheran. Joe Cohen had 14 points and Andy Beltowski scored 12 points and had 11 rebounds.

Azusa Pacific (2-3) was led by David Walker, who scored 25 points and grabbed nine rebounds. Teammates Buck Day and Dele Aribigbola each scored 21 points.

WOMEN

Baylor 73, Cal State Northridge 55--Amanda McNiel’s game-high 16 points led a quartet of Baylor players in double figures in the first round of the Wolf Pack Thanksgiving tournament at Nevada-Reno.

Starting center Sandi Olson and reserve forward Shagarro Lattin led Northridge (0-2) with 12 points each. Olson had a game-high 11 rebounds, followed by Lattin with 10.

Orange Coast 89, Glendale 48--Point guard Stephanie Ball totaled 16 points, eight rebounds and four steals but it wasn’t enough for Glendale (1-2) in a first-round game of the Mt. San Jacinto tournament.

Dora Rubio added 10 points and four rebounds for Glendale, which continues tournament action today at 3 p.m. against Cypress.

Cypress 58, Oxnard 41--Karen Revelez scored 16 points and pulled down 17 rebounds, but the Condors could not overcome a 29-15 halftime deficit in a Mt. San Jacinto tournament opener.
