YORBA LINDA : Armed Man Robs Convenience Store
An armed robber held up a convenience store early Thursday and fled with money taken from the store’s cash register, police said.
The gunman walked into a 7-Eleven store at 19752 Yorba Linda Blvd. at 3:35 a.m., displayed a handgun and demanded cash from the store clerk, , a Brea police spokesman said.
The amount of cash stolen was not determined. The clerk was not injured.
The robber was described as in his early 20s, 5 feet, 8 inches tall and weighing 160 pounds, with short brown hair.
