Israeli Deportations and Peace Talks

The Times criticizes Israel’s policy of deportation because it is detrimental to the peace process of territories for peace with so-called guarantees. Israel deserves to be criticized for not pursuing a more vigorous defense of Jews in a Jewish state. The primary purpose of any government is to ensure the domestic tranquillity and to provide for the public welfare. The use of rubber bullets and a policy of restraint upon Jewish residents of Judea and Samaria serve to convince the Arabs that the Jewish state is a paper tiger.

Arabs who terrorize Jews either through incitement of violence or revolt against Jewish sovereignty through any act of sedition should be made to suffer the consequences. They will fear and respect the Jewish will to survive. Thus Israel will not become the price of peace.
