HOT TICKET: Girls’ high school basketball is no longer a poor stepchild. All 2,200 seats are expected to sell out for tonight’s game at Brea-Olinda High School when the Ladycats, the defending Division II state champs, play Palos Verdes Peninsula High, the country’s top-ranked team (C11). Ladycats Coach Mark Trakh says Brea starts supporting its athletes in grade school. “By the time players get to high school, people know them and are interested in them,” he says.
