TWO LIVES IN THE THEATER
Richard Stayton’s article (“Two Lives in the Theater,” Dec. 1) completely and tastefully depicted the lives of two theater writers. Playwright John Steppling made an important point when he told Jon Robin Baitz to “embrace failure” and learn from it. All writers should be taught this philosophy. If they aren’t, they will have been cheated of the most valuable lesson a writer can learn.
