Legalizing Drug Trade
All drugs should be legalized because there are big risks in selling illegal drugs. A drug habit can cost $100 per day. If drugs were legalized, they would be sold at a much lower price, as cigarettes and alcohol are now. Drug users are not going to quit using drugs just because they can’t afford it.
That gives them three choices. One, they can steal. County Supervisor George Bailey said 80% of all county crimes are done by drug users trying to maintain their habit.
Two, they can sell their bodies. The major cause of prostitution is drug addiction.
Three, they can become a dealer, hooking their friends and spreading the drug problem.
I think by legalizing drugs it would make cities safer for the non-users.
