North Central Avenue, 800 block--Luggage, jewelry, shoes and handbags valued at $6,700 were stolen from a car in a restaurant parking lot on Feb. 27 at 7 p.m.
North Brand Boulevard, 400 block--A jewelry store was robbed of 13 gold chains and six gold bracelets valued at $1,850 on Feb. 28 after two robbers diverted the clerk’s attention from a third accomplice.
East Garfield Avenue, 200 block--A man sitting on the steps of his apartment was accosted by three gang members on Feb. 29 at 2:50 a.m. He was hospitalized with a torn earlobe.
La Canada Flintridge
Encinas Drive, 4500 block--Police believe arson was the cause of a fire at La Canada Elementary School on Feb. 27. The 2:50 p.m. blaze caused about $65,000 in damage to a concrete block structure known as Pod 4. An additional $35,000 in losses involving school supplies and equipment was reported.
Encinas Drive and Homewood Lane--Two elementary schoolgirls reported that a man in his 30s had exposed his genitals to them from his car on Feb. 25 at 4:45 p.m.
La Crescenta
Circle Vista Avenue, 5100 block--Burglars failed to gain entrance but caused about $1,000 damage to the double-wide wooden doors of a home on Feb. 29 or March 1.

Riverside Drive, 2000 block--Industrial equipment valued at $13,000 was stolen from a factory between Feb. 22 and 24.
Blake Avenue, 1800 block--Burglars removed a window from a business and stole tools valued at $13,900 between Feb. 22 and 24.
Blake Avenue, 1900 block--A manufacturing company was burglarized on Feb. 25 at 10 p.m. and tools, a telephone and equipment valued at $13,879 were taken.
Chevy Chase Drive, 3900 block--Thieves used a key to enter a trailer at a government facility on Feb. 26 or 27. Computer equipment valued at $7,400 was stolen.
Glendale Boulevard and Madera Drive--A robber grabbed a woman by the neck and held a knife to her chest before fleeing with a purse and wallet containing $3,289 on Feb. 28 at 7:25 p.m.
Echo Park
Idell Street, 2800 block--A clothing store was broken into Feb. 24 or 25 and a cellular phone and industrial equipment valued at $8,152 were stolen.
Stadium Way, 1400 block--Burglars stole clothing and jewelry valued at $2,715 from an apartment on Feb. 28 between 10:30 and 11:15 a.m.
Paul Terrace, 1500 block--Cameras, equipment and a TV valued at $5,800 were stolen from a home on Feb. 28 or 29.

Fletcher Drive and San Fernando Road--A person at a gas station was robbed at knifepoint of jewelry and money valued at $2,820 on Feb. 24 at 11:55 p.m.
Highland Park
Figueroa Street and Meridian Street--A robber flashed a badge at another motorist, signaling him to pull over, then made off with $335 cash and documents from the victim Feb. 23 at 4:30 p.m.
Mendota Avenue, 4800 block--Cameras and video equipment valued at $4,560 were stolen from a home Feb. 23 between 3 and 11:30 p.m.
York Boulevard, 4600 block--Three robbers wearing stocking masks forced witnesses in a liquor store to the floor and then fled with $400 from the cash register on Feb. 25 at 8:15 p.m.
North Avenue 56, 400 block--Video equipment and a TV valued at $4,050 was were stolen from a home on Feb. 26 between 7 a.m. and 5:35 p.m.
Meridian Street, 5600 block--A television and video equipment valued at $4,400 were stolen from an apartment on Feb. 26 or 27.
Baltimore Street, 5000 block--Burglars pried bars off the windows of a home, ran-sacked the premises, and stole money and a stereo valued at $2,800 on Feb. 29 at 3 p.m.
Los Feliz
Shannon Road, 3800 block--A woman was robbed of $5,360 and credit cards by a thief who accosted her as she left her car on Feb. 24 at 1:15 p.m.
Mt. Washington
Figueroa Street, 4900 block--A thief armed with a kitchen knife attempted to take money from a victim March 1 at 1:25 a.m., but the victim was able to fight the assailant off, despite having been stabbed.
Silver Lake
Hyperion Avenue, 1100 block--A thief snatched jewelry valued at $850 from two people’s necks and then fled in a taxi on Feb. 27 at 12:15 p.m.
Silver Lake Boulevard, 1600 block--A robber held a knife to the throat of a mini-market employee before fleeing with money and cigarettes valued at $126 on Feb. 28 at 5:45 p.m.
Silver Lake Boulevard, 1600 block--Four robbers armed with a handgun forced witnesses in a liquor store to lie on the floor before fleeing with money and liquor valued at $1,090 on Feb. 29 at 9:20 p.m.
East Hollywood
Fountain Avenue, 4800 block--Four robbers armed with a revolver forced victims in a mini-market to lie on the floor before robbing them of money and a stereo, valued at $1,302, on Feb. 27 at 9:20 p.m.
North Normandie Avenue, 1800 block--Burglars smashed the front window of an office and stole business machines valued at $1,600 on Feb. 28 between 4 and 6:30 a.m.
