Banks and Naulty Lead Titans to 7-0 Victory
FULLERTON — Tony Banks had three hits, including a home run, as Cal State Fullerton defeated Southern Utah, 7-0, in a nonconference baseball game Friday at Amerige Park.
Senior right-hander Dan Naulty (4-1) allowed five hits and struck out nine in seven innings.
Banks had a two-run home run, his fourth of the season, in the seventh to give Fullerton a 6-0 lead. Phil Nevin, who had homered in each of the last four games, had a single and walked three times for the Titans (12-4), who have won five in a row.
Southern Utah is 1-13. The teams play at 7 tonight and at 1 p.m. Sunday.
