NORTHRIDGE : CSUN Program to Cut Alcohol Abuse
- Share via
The Los Angeles County office of alcohol programs has awarded a $30,000 grant to increase awareness of alcohol-related problems on the campus of Cal State Northridge.
The grant, approved last month by the county Board of Supervisors, was given to the National Council on Alcoholism and Drug Dependence of the San Fernando Valley. Robin Little, a prevention and recovery specialist with the council, said the project’s first effort will be to promote sober graduation celebrations this spring.
The campus project, which will continue through June, 1993, will address the “environmental” aspects of campus drinking.
