Polish Finance Chief Seeks World Aid
WARSAW, Poland — Poland’s new Finance Minister Andrzej Olechowski will meet directors of the International Monetary Fund Monday to seek their support for the government’s much-criticized economic program.

In September, the IMF suspended disbursements of its $2.5-billion credit package supporting Poland’s market reforms after the country’s budget deficit ran out of control.
