Irritated Over Housing Project
According to an article in The Times, the San Fernando Gardens housing project has 2,000 residents, 92% are Latino and 80% speak only Spanish. Many of these people are illegal aliens.
Los Angeles County now has about 177,000 homeless and an unemployment rate in excess of 7%.
Why then do we condone the presence of illegal aliens in our tax-subsidized housing? Or even in our country? Why should we have a job development coordinator for these people when our own citizens need jobs?
