SOMIS : Officials Identify Man in Fatal Crash
A motorcycle rider who was killed Saturday after colliding with two cars on California 118 in Somis has been identified as Robert Breton, 48, of Moorpark, officials said Sunday.
Breton was a foreman at Southern California Edison Co.’s Mandalay substation, according to officers for the California Highway Patrol.
He was killed about 4:30 p.m. Saturday after he hit the rear of a car that had slowed for traffic in the eastbound lane near Groves Place. Breton and his motorcycle were thrown into oncoming traffic and struck by a car.
Officers said Breton, who was wearing a helmet, died instantly of multiple traumatic injuries.
