Newport-Mesa Board to Meet Earlier
NEWPORT BEACH — The Newport-Mesa Unified School District Board of Education will start its meetings half an hour earlier to better handle the growing number of speakers and business matters it expects to face through the end of the fiscal year.
Through June 9, the board will meet every second and fourth Tuesday at 7 p.m. at the Harper Community Center, 425 E. 18th St., Costa Mesa.
Because a number of parents, students and community residents have voiced their opinions at recent board meetings, the meetings have stretched later into the evening than usual.
