On Turkey Letters

The March 8 letters by Bill Papoutsis and G. Rizzo decry your Feb. 23 article about Turkey. The thrust of the letters is that because of Turkey’s history in Cypress, Turkey should be put on a proscribed list. Using that type of past activity by a country as a criterion, it seems that the list should be enlarged to include: Germany for the Holocaust; Britain for its colonial and Irish policies; France for its colonial policies; Spain for the Inquisition. Shall I go on?
