OUTDOOR FIRST-AID: A Field Guide to Recognition...
OUTDOOR FIRST-AID: A Field Guide to Recognition and Treatment of Outdoor Injuries and Illnesses, edited by Robert J. Koester (dbS Productions: $13.95, illustrated). The wealth of information in this thorough if somewhat technical first-aid manual makes it a valuable resource for any outdoor excursion. The book is practically printed in waterproof ink on paper that will float if inadvertently dropped in the water; however, the spiral binding makes it easy to tear out pages inadvertently. Wendy Wray’s black-and-white illustrations echo the graphic style of an old Boy Scout Manual.
