The Weather Biz

I read Howard Rosenberg’s April 8 column, “The Soggy Envelope, Please . . . ,” with much interest. I enjoy the weather programs, with this exception: It seems they are being used as springboards to show biz.

I wrote Fritz Coleman and suggested (because so many of us are here from somewhere else) that we might enjoy hearing about the weather in Paris or London--all over the globe! There’s time for it--the weather here is always the same. I received a thank-you. That was that.

Well, Maclovio Perez and Dallas Raines are educated weathermen. They might peek over our borders and we might have global weather!
