Analyst Review: “Amplicon makes it money by being a low-cost operation, by being conservative, and by having a good balance sheet. As with all good leasing companies, it also makes money by disposing of and selling equipment by the end of the lease. I think they’ll continue to succeed. The company is well-managed, conservative, and has reasonable prospects for continued earnings growth. They should be able to increase earnings by 20% a year over the next couple of years, and the stock should mirror that increase. You have hands-on managers who manage the leasing company the way that they would manage their own personal finances--conservatively.”

Corporate Outlook: “Last July, Amplicon felt that the worst of the economic recession was behind us, and since that time we have been expanding our sales and finance organizations rapidly in order to be positioned to take advantage of business opportunities in 1992. During the first 6 months of fiscal 1992, we increased profits over 20% despite difficult conditions, and believe we are beginning to see the foundation for renewed revenue growth.”
