Booth Wins the Woodlands Golf Classic
Kellee Booth of Coto de Caza won the girls’ division of the Taylor Made Woodlands Junior Classic Sunday in The Woodlands, Tex.
Booth shot a one-under 71 to take first by four shots. The tournament was scheduled for 36 holes over two days, but area flooding and rain limited play to nine holes each day.
Eunice Choi of Laguna Hills shot an 81 and Susie Park had an 83.
In the boys’ 15-18 division, Tiger Woods of Cypress tied for second at 71, a shot behind Robert Dean of Raleigh, N.C. Joe Garner of Lake Forest shot 75 and Robert Son of Fullerton and Ben Garner of Lake Forest each had 79.
In the boys’ 13-14 division, Greg Vondrak of Corpus Christi, Tex., won with a 73 and Jeffrey McGraw of Fullerton had an 81.
