PORT HUENEME : Motorcyclist, 24, Injured in Crash
A 24-year-old Port Hueneme man was seriously injured when he lost control of his motorcycle and crashed into a house, police said Monday.
Donald Stephens was in serious condition at St. John’s Regional Medical Center, a nursing supervisor said.
Stephens was speeding east in the 800 block of Joyce Drive in Port Hueneme about 6:40 p.m. Sunday when he began braking to make a right turn, police said. Stephens lost control of the motorcycle and struck a curb. He and the motorcycle were then propelled against the wall of a house, police said.
No one in the house was injured. Stephens was wearing a helmet when he crashed, police said.
