GRANADA HILLS : Woman Charged With Seducing Boys
A Granada Hills woman has been arrested on suspicion of seducing teen-age boys after providing the juveniles with alcoholic beverages and showing them pornographic films, Los Angeles police said Monday.
Faye D. Abramowitz, 40, was charged with five counts of oral copulation and three counts of lewd conduct with a child, Detective Gary Lyon said. She was taken into custody Friday at Olive View Medical Center, where she is a secretary, and released from Van Nuys Jail the same day after posting $49,000 bail, Lyon said.
Abramowitz is accused of “befriending neighborhood boys,” ranging in age from 14 to 16 years old, inviting them to the house she rented with other tenants, and engaging in sex with them after giving them drinks and showing sex videos, Lyon said. He said police have confirmed 10 victims and believe that there could be more although they could not be certain because “not too many boys of this age report their victimization. It’s more of a badge of honor than anything.”
The incidents happened regularly for about a year until one of the youths confided in an adult and police were notified, Lyon said.
