Closer Look at Attitudes

I do think that Ventura County has a problem with both racism and sexism. I moved here three years ago from Kansas City, Mo., and I have been shocked by both racist and sexist comments I have heard.

A lot of people in Ventura County need to look at themselves and their attitudes, and they need to do it in the very near future. However, I do not condone the violence that took place in Los Angeles after the verdicts came down in the Rodney King beating trial.
