The ‘War’ Is Over: After a nine-year battle, history professor John Woodbridge has reached a settlement with Paramount Pictures over his claim that the studio used a song he wrote as the theme for the ABC miniseries “Winds of War.” Terms of the settlement were not revealed. Woodbridge is a professor of church history at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School in Chicago and a visiting professor of history at Northwestern University. He is working on a book about the case.
