Top-seeded UCLA defeated Massachusetts, 11-1, in five innings on Sunday to advance to today’s championship game against second-seeded Arizona in the NCAA Division I women’s softball tournament at Oklahoma City.

UCLA (53-2) is undefeated in the double-elimination tournament, so Arizona (58-6), which has one loss, would have to win twice in order to claim the title.

The Bruins’ victory Sunday marked the second time in the tournament that UCLA’s game was called after five innings because of the 10-run rule. UCLA shut out fourth-seeded California, 10-0, on Saturday.
