Navy Mentor Program at Children’s Center
The U.S. Navy has established a mentorship program with the MacLaren Children’s Center in El Monte.
Personnel from the ship George Phillip will provide experiences such as field trips, speakers, sports clinics and a pen pal program for the youngsters at the county’s shelter for abused, neglected and abandoned children.
