U.S. Economy Grew Faster Than Reported

The U.S. economy grew at the fastest rate in three years during the first three months of 1992, somewhat better than first thought, the government said Friday.

The Commerce Department said the upward revision in the gross domestic product, the broadest measure of the economy’s health, put growth at a 2.4% seasonally adjusted annual rate from January to March.
