Beatings

In response to Chris Silkowski’s letter (“Denny and King,” May 28). I’d like to point out what I personally feel is the central issue here, and it’s not comparing innocence. The issue is no human being deserves to be brutally beaten the way either Rodney King or Reginald Denny was beaten; and the punishment for that particular crime and the handling of those responsible for it should be meted out equally--no matter what color.
