PUSHING HIMSELF: When Cal State Fullerton junior Chih Shih begins a 3,500--mile bicycle trek June 15--from the Golden Gate Bridge to the nation’s capital--it won’t be just for pleasure. He’ll be riding with 49 others for PUSH, his fraternity’s handicap support group. To qualify, Shih, 21, had to prove he could ride up to 100 miles a day and got his sister, Jacklyn Shih, to help him raise the needed $4,000 in corporate sponsor money. His sister says: “He also went out and bought himself a $1,500 bicycle.”
