Countywide : Strategy Session Set for Clean-Air Rules

The countywide strategy for meeting clean-air standards will be discussed at a meeting today of the Orange County Regional Advisory Council, a group composed of representatives from city councils and the Board of Supervisors.

The council, similar to a panel of local governments, will receive a report from an industry task force that advocates charging people directly for the pollution and traffic congestion they cause, instead of asking business to regulate employee commuting habits.

The meeting will be held at 2 p.m. on the fifth floor of the County Hall of Administration in Santa Ana.
