Russians Get ‘Heritage’: “Heritage: Civilization and the Jews,” the ambitious award-winning 1984 series produced for PBS by WNET/New York, is going to be shown on Russian television in nine one-hour installments beginning today. The series, charting 3,000 years of interaction of Jewish history with Western civilization, is hosted by Abba Eban, former Israeli ambassador to the United Nations.
